Africa Adaptation Network Meeting
Africa is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Adaptation is a knowledge-intensive undertaking, and access to relevant and usable knowledge is an important prerequisite for successful adaptation efforts. Against this backdrop, the Africa Adaptation Knowledge Network is functioning as a knowledge hub on adaptation, promoting cooperation and collaboration.
New online community for adaptation in Asia-Pacific
An interactive website on climate change adaptation in Asia and the Pacific will launch in early 2013. USAID ADAPT Asia-Pacific is working closely with Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN) (part of Global Adaptation Network - GAN - under UNEP) to enhance APAN’s current Climate Change Adaptation knowledge platform in Asia and the Pacific.
